GIGAN To Release New Album In June

GIGAN, the Chicago-based band formed by guitarist Eric Hersemann (ex-DIABOLIC, HATE ETERNAL),will release its sophomore album, "Quasi-Hallucinogenic Sonic Landscapes", on June 7 via Willowtip Records. The CD was recorded in November 2010 at Semaphore studios with producer Sanford Parker and features such songtitles as "Mountains Perched Like Beasts Awaiting the Attack", "Suspended In Cubes Of Torment" and "Transmogrification Into Bio-Luminoid". According to a press release, the new GIGAN CD contains "the same boundary-pushing musical and technical extremity, but also some new elements, instruments and approaches to delivery."

GIGAN's debut album, "The Order of the False Eye", came out in July 2008 through Napalm Records.
